Job Seekers Receive Valuable Job Searching Skills at Rancho Cordova Event

Job seekers are invited to attend the “Getting You back to Work” event at Rancho Cordova City Hall on Wednesday morning, May 20, to gain valuable career advice and connect with local employers. This community service event is hosted by Ultimate Staffing Services, Ledgent and Adams & Martin Group – the divisions of Roth Staffing Companies – in partnership with the City of Rancho Cordova and Channel 31’s Good Day Sacramento.

“We are specialists in the area of employment and want to share those skills with those who have been impacted by a lay-off in our community,” said Julie Hagan Porter, Sr. Vice President of Roth Staffing Companies. “Our company Purpose is To make life better for the people we serve™. We need to provide support to our community in these challenging economic times.”

“Getting You Back to Work” will treat job seekers to resume advice, free video resume service, critical interview tips, workshops and an opportunity to meet with top employers in the area. Breakfast will be served and all attendees will leave with an information-packed Candidate Toolkit and Community Resource Guide provided by Roth Staffing Companies.

Good Day Sacramento will broadcast live from the event beginning at 5 a.m. and Assemblywoman Alyson Huber will attend to make a special presentation.

“Getting You Back to Work” is being provided as a community service and there is no cost for attendees. Those local employers who wish to participate may contact Julie Hagan Porter or Karen Marsh-Beedy at 916-643-1570 for details.
