Get to Know Your Local Motors

Every year in May, officers from around the country travel to Washington D.C. to pay their respects to fallen officers and their families during National Law Enforcement Memorial Week. This year, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department and the Rancho Cordova Police Department will see Deputy Larry Canfields’ name added to the memorial wall. The cost of the trip, transportation of vehicles, and lodging is expected to be between $40,000 and $60,000- all of which will have to be paid for by the officers themselves.
