Large Lady Needs Loving Home

She’s big, she’s lovable and she doesn’t have a home. Rosie is a 7-year-old calico cat with some extra weight that she needs help losing. She wants to be adopted soon so that she will have the opportunity to get out of her kennel and get some exercise. She weighs approximately 19 pounds and needs to lose close to 10 pounds to be at a healthy weight.

A good diet and exercise regimen for Rosie would consist of weight control food and lots of play time. She doesn’t mind dogs and gets along fine with other cats. She is a gigantic love bug and would love nothing more than to cuddle-up with you and rub her head against your hand. If Rosie isn’t adopted soon her risk of heart disease, arthritis and other health problems may increase due to life in the kennel, preventing her from getting the amount of exercise she needs to drop weight.
