Pet of the Week- Pot Belly Pig

Yes, it’s true, the Sacramento County Animal Shelter does have a pot belly pig up for adoption, and he has been at the shelter for quite some time. He doesn’t have a name and most people in Sacramento don’t have the outside space for an animal of this size so he sits and waits for a name and a home. If you’re the type of person that loves animals, has a large outside space and wants to save a life, you should consider adopting this pig.

He’s very friendly, he loves to eat and he snorts a lot – which makes him so cute! Just think about the fun you could have with a pet pig – talk about a conversation started. Plus, pigs are known to have similar mannerisms to dogs such as loving belly rubs. Pigs crave affection as most pets do and can get lonely. He is currently in the barn area of the animal shelter and would love some visitors. Please don’t let him become forgotten.

Pet ID#: A90882
