Kevin-
Here is the response I received from Stacey Peterson, Human Resources Manager with the city of Rancho Cordova:

"[ ]...We are proud to have generous employees who fundraised on their personal time to be able to establish a scholarship fund to support our local youth. This year the employee group chose to arrange the scholarship with Cordova High School, which does limit the scholarship to Cordova High School seniors. I will pass on this inquiry to our employee volunteer group so that they may consider broadening the opportunity for the scholarship in the future."

This is a great idea and the city employees who are doing this need a big "thanks" from the community.
But what about Rancho Cordova high school seniors who live within the boundaries of Sacramento City Unified School District (that would be all of Lincoln Village and Countryside), or the Elk Grove Unified School District (all of Anatolia), or who attend a private high school? Can they apply too?
