Randy- You’d think the bank employees would not only know about this, but would be even more vigilant in their security practices. I have been told by a couple WaMu customers that WaMu sent out notices to their customers alerting them to the potential security breach.

I went to the bank and spoke to an employee, they said it never happened and did not know what I was talking about so good luck.

Mike, sometimes to get news out quickly we may misspell a word or two. I think the larger issue here is how does someone get away with this. There are video cameras recording at ATM’s. I would hope all branches are watchful of this type of identity theft.

For crying out loud, doesn’t anyone proof read anymore! ‘Devise’ is to conceive a new idea, a ‘device’ is a tool or machine designed for a particular task or function.
One would think that a news outlet could do better.
