Sexual Assault Suspect Still at Large

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Sexual Assault Bureau detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect they believe is responsible for two sexual assaults which occurred on the Cordova High School campus. The first assault occurred on December 11, 2008, shortly before 8:00 a.m.

In this incident, the 18-year-old female victim reported she was pushed into a school restroom by an unknown suspect and sexually assaulted. She told deputies she blacked out during the incident and was unable to describe her attacker.

The second assault occurred on January 23, 2009, at 7:35 a.m. In this incident, the 15-year-old female victim reported she too was pushed into a school restroom and sexually assaulted by an unknown suspect.

The second victim described her attacker (see sketch below) as a 19-year-old white male, he was 5’8” tall, and weighed 180 pounds with a thin build. He had light brown hair styled in a “spiky” crew-cut. He was clean shaven and was wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.

Detectives have exhausted all investigative leads and are asking anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect involved in these two sexual assaults to call the Sheriff’s Department’s Sexual Assault Bureau at (916) 874-5070, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
