Rancho Cordova’s Swimstitute Is a Splashing Success

Rancho Cordova is home to an indoor pool and aquatic center that is available for Special Olympics, SCUBA classes, water aerobics and swim classes alike.  Not only is swimming a great way to spend time with your family, but it’s also a wonderful full body work out. So, if those summer clothes are creating thoughts of binge diets and drastic exercise plans, the simple solution could be located right here in Rancho Cordova.

The Northern California Swimstitute houses an indoor facility including 8 lanes and 275,000 gallons of heated water. There are also men and women’s locker rooms that contain restrooms, changing areas, lockers and showers.

The Swimstitute offers many swimming lessons for every age and experience level from babies to current swim team members. The Swimstitute is also available for large groups and parties. Host a birthday party, graduation celebration or family reunion and don’t worry about the decorations, because they can be included.  A private pool can even be rented after hours for those who want even more privacy.

The Swimstitute also offers courses in Basic Water Safety which are offered to everyone who wants to learn more about basic water safety. Membership to The Swimstitute begins at $30 a month and includes lap swimming, aerobics courses,recreational swimming and there is never an enrollment fee.  The Swimstitute is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
