Hi, my name is Gabby and I’m reaching out to you because I’m in need of a home. I’m at the shelter now after being with a foster family that helped me get healthy. Now that I’m healthy, I have to sit and wait for someone to adopt me. I’m an athletic dog who loves belly rubs and am extremely affectionate. I have an urge to please and I’m a quick learner. I’m practicing walking on a leash, I know how to sit and I’m leaning the lie down command. The volunteers at the shelter are always taking me out for walks and playing with me – I’ve overheard them saying I’m their favorite. I’m a mellow dog but if you fill a Kong with frozen applesauce I’m in doggy heaven. I don’t bark and I have short fur so I’m easy to groom. I’m just a big lap dog looking for a family. If I sound like the dog you’ve always wanted, come to the shelter today and spend some time with me. Maybe I’ll become part of your family.
