Hayden is a huggable teddy bear with a happy-go-lucky personality. He is very smart and well trained – he knows the commands “sit, stay and down,” he can walk on a leash without pulling and he is showing strong signs of being house trained. His owner had breast cancer and became too sick to take care of him. Although she loved him dearly she couldn’t find a home for him and was forced to bring him to the shelter with hope that a nice family would visit the shelter and adopt him. He is around 7 to 9 years old and a little chubby; he should lose ten to fifteen pounds. He is loveable and sweet with people of all ages and other dogs but he doesn’t seem to be too fond of cats and likes to chase them.
