The two missing Rancho Cordova teen mothers have been found safe, says the Sacramento County Sheriffs Department Sgt. Tim Curran. 14-year-old Shaylee, her 9-month-old son and 16-year-old Kayla we re located Monday afternoon at the home of Shayee’s mother in south Sacramento.
Curran said the teens will be taken to Sacramento Children’s Receiving Home. The nine month old baby will be returned to Shaylee’s foster parents after he is medically examined.
The teen girls were last seen pushing their babies in strollers leaving their home in Rancho Cordova around 8 a.m. Thursday January 29th. Kayla’s 2-month-old daughter was found Saturday in the care of her paternal grandparents in Citrus Heights.
