The 19th Annual Sacramento Regional Science Bowl is coming to Folsom and there will be two teams representing Cordova High. High school students from Northern California will match wits for the 19th consecutive year at the Sacramento Regional Science Bowl competition Saturday, Feb. 28, at Vista del Lago High School, 1970 Broadstone Parkway in Folsom.

The Sacramento Regional Transit District is looking into charging train and bus riders who use any of the area’s 19 park and ride lots. The one dollar fee is expected to generate nearly one million dollars annually for the already stressed transit system. Even with the impending one dollar parking lot fee being valid for the whole day, will patrons of the Regional Transit System still ride?
