The civil suit will go to trial on August 31st, 2009. Strange’s family brought a wrongful death lawsuit against the radio station in Aprilof 2007. During the competition, several people called in telling the dj’s the dangers of water intoxication. The dj’s then laughed off the warnings, saying all the contestants had signed waivers.

Beginning at 7:45am and going until 9:15am, a breakfast of green eggs and ham, tater tots, fruit and milk will be served. The Sacramento Regional Transit District is looking into charging train and bus riders who use any of the area’s 19 park and ride lots. The one dollar fee is expected to generate nearly one million dollars annually for the already stressed transit system. Even with the impending one dollar parking lot fee being valid for the whole day, will patrons of the Regional Transit System still ride?
