Man Walks Into Hwy 50 Traffic After Crashing Vehicle

A man is recovering after a series of trials on the road this morning.  First, he crashed his car into a canal off of Highway 50 near Zinfandel Dr. He seems to have been un-injured in the first accident. But then the man wandered on to the freeway where he was side swiped by an oncoming vehicle.  .

The driver has minor injuries including a broken arm. Officers say he may have fallen asleep at the wheel and was disoriented when he walked onto the highway. The man has been hospitalized and his condition is not yet known.
