Dance the Night Away at the 2nd Annual Sweetheart Ball

If you’re at a loss for what to get the love of your life for Valentine’s Day, keep reading. The second annual Sweetheart Ball will be held on February 13th and will make your holiday plans all the easier to make. From 6:30 to 11p.m. dance the night away to the fabulous music of highly acclaimed Hip Service, and enjoy a gourmet dinner, exciting auctions and contests at the Folsom Community Center.

This unique event, dedicated to supporting services for families and youth in the local area, is a night when “sweet” hearts can give back to their community. The Sweetheart Ball is a joint effort of the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership (the Partnership) and the Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD).

Proceeds from the event will support the Helping Hand Fund which addresses unmet needs of FCUSD students and families in the Folsom and Rancho Cordova communities. Additional funds will enhance existing services of the Partnership which include Roots and Horizons mentoring program (mentoring children of prisoners), CAKe after-school and recreational activities, REACH Youth Development Program, Birth and Beyond Community Response, Effective Parenting Initiative, SETA Safety-Net Services program and SMUD’s Energy Help Program.
