The holiday season brings joy, laughter, family traditions, and greater than average amounts of trash. In order to be prepared for the holiday season’s trash pickup, the City has provided a convenient holiday schedule. If your regularly scheduled pick up day is on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25 or on Friday December 26th, service will be provided one day later instead. Thursday pickups will be on Friday, and Friday pickups will be on Saturday, December 27.

Juventus, the Rancho Cordova Soccer Club Select team for under 12 boys, was the winner of the District Cup Tournament in Woodland on December 13th. The team beat the Folsom Rangers in the C bracket with a 2-1 score. To advance to the championship game, Juventus had finished first in its league and then won its bracket in the qualifying tournament in Davis the previous weekend.
