Pet of the Week- Jibby

Jibby: Pet ID #: A485227
My name is Jibby, and I’m a Labrador retriever, which makes me one of the most popular breeds for a family dog in the United States, but I don’t have a home. I’m 4-years-old, neutered and ready to home with you today. I have lots of energy to burn so if you want to throw the ball for me, take me to the park or go for a run I would love to meet you. I’ve heard volunteers at the shelter talking about me and they all say I’m very well mannered but not well trained; I think that means I’m naturally smart and well behaved but I’ve never had an owner that tried teaching me anything. I do have a small injury on my left hind paw that I got right before I was dropped off at the shelter. The shelter veterinarian staff has been taking great care of my paw and it is almost healed. I would be a great family dog; I just need a little training. I like families with older kids because they can hang-out and play more than babies or toddlers. Please come to the shelter and visit me, I’ll let the front desk know you’re on your way.
