The most recent unemployment numbers came out earlier this week and things don’t look good. Experts are predicting that things are going to get worse before they get better, and if you’re in the market for a new job, that isn’t what you wanted to hear. However, for those of you who are knee-deep in the job hunting process and see this period of time as one to better yourself for future career opportunities, an upcoming workshop series might be just the thing to land that next job.

The workshop series will focus on modern job hunt techniques, including using online resources, creating and maintaining an effective profile, and utilizing networking groups to your advantage. The class sizes are limited to 22 people which will allow for more personalized attention for job seekers to have specialized help in areas where they most need it.

The workshops will be held on December 10 from 7:30 to 3:30 at the Courtyard by Marriott and will include a continental breakfast and lunch break. Each workshop varies in price, or the whole series can be purchased at a discounted rate. It is highly recommended that job seekers bring a laptop with wireless connectivity.  For more information or to reserve your seat at the workshops, click here.
