Registration for the the 2009 baseball season has begun All registrations will be held a the Rancho Cordova Neighborhood Center located at 10665 Coloma Road at the following dates/times:

Saturday, December13th, 9:00-12:00PM

REGULAR SIGN UPS (regular league fees)
Friday, January 9th
Saturday, January 10th, 9:00-12:00pm

Little League Baseball is open to players age 5-16 as of 4/30/2009.

$55.00 for TBALL & COAST leagues
$75.00 EARLY SIGN UP FEE AMERICAN- JUNIOR LEAGUE
$90.00 REGULAR SIGN UP FEE AMERICAN-JUNIOR LEAGUE

$10.00 Multi-player discount per additional player

Each player registering for the 2009 season must bring the following:

• an ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE for review (no copies or affidavits accepted). If your player was a 2008 ALL STAR or Winterball player who provided an original BC, it is not needed at this time. Players cannot be assigned to teams or try out unless we have seen the ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

• 3 proofs of residency-examples include SMUD/PGE/CABLE/PHONE bill; school records; Drivers License; auto registration

• 2009 registration form (can be found on our site or picked up at registration.

Huber Defeats Sieglock for Assembly Seat

In a come from behind victory, Allison Huber defeated Jack Sieglock in what amounted to a very, very close race for the 10th District seat. Sieglock, who was ahead in the ballot count for more than three weeks, officially lost the election when it became clear on Wednesday that he couldn’t match Huber’s 505 vote lead with less than 300 absentee ballots to count.
