The Rosemont Community Association will be conducting its annual holiday toy drive on Saturday, December 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents of Rosemont and beyond are invited to drop off toys at the Save Mart on Kiefer Blvd.  It is asked that the toy be in new condition, in its original wrapping.  Please also consider bringing ”child friendly” toys for children of all ages and for both genders.

The Association will have a table with boxes set up near the Christmas trees. With so many families going through financial trouble, the holidays are going to be especially tight. If you’re able to spare a new toy for a child that might not otherwise receive anything on Christmas, please remember this local toy drive.

Celebrating Our Own Bountiful Harvests

Unfortunately pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes can drown out the sweet, simple spirit of Thanksgiving. Amidst the parade, the football games, the day after 4 a.m. shopping, and the much loved turkey, it’s very easy to forget why we celebrate Thanksgiving.
