American River Bankshares Could See Possible Treasury Investment

AIG. Citigroup. Some business names send a chill down the collective spine of the American public. In such a time of uncertainty for businesses, especially banks the Federal government is stepping in to do what they think is best. Recently, the United States Treasury has approved a $6 million investment in Rancho Cordova’s American River Bankshares. This comes as part of the government’s plan to spur lending and revive the economy.

Breakfast with Santa

The holiday season just isn’t complete without the requisite visit with Santa. Parents across the country have been handing their children over to the chubby stranger in a red suit for years, all for the sake of the coveted photo with Santa.
