More than 100 Californians are appearing in a new television ad campaign this week that will be directed to Governor Sarah Palin. Because of what this group is calling bashing from the media, they’ve decided to instead thank Palin for her work in the 2008 Presidential campaign. The ad is being produced by a conservative group called Our Country Deserves Better and people from all over the country are heading to Rancho Cordova to take part.
The Republican vice president candidate received a lot of media attention during her run for office. Everything from her hairstyle, glasses and manner of speech was critiqued. Others argue that is true for any one running for public office and she shouldn’t be singled out. Our Country Deserves Better disagrees and plans on showing America another side of Sarah Palin over Thanksgiving weekend, when the advertisement will air on cable television stations across the country.

I think you don't understand the meaning of the word socialist. Alaska doesn't own the company…they own the mineral rights where the companies are drilling. You're right though, Obama is not a socialist. He's a Marxist in his ideology, which is the key to toppling capitalism. Get your facts straight. We need more venom when someone is trying to steal your life, liberty and selfishness [pursuit of happiness]
And what is it you think obama knows? just because he's a well spoken harvard law school graduate, the man has never had a real job. He's been on a single track to the presidency ever since he was tapped here in california from his mediocre, coke snortin college days. He's smart…but about what? He's smart enough to get your vote…but what change were you voting for exactly?
Gibson and Couric were condescending at best…she was pissed and it showed. Would couric have asked obama what he read? NO…everyone assumes he reads the law reviews… what about Biden..what does he read, and what would that matter? What did Couric want her to say? The Wasilla Post so everyone could laugh? Why would she read the NYTimes in Anchorage…??

Resudebte: Palin is indeed ready to be 2nd in command. Look who you people elected – the most inexperienced candidate in US history! The GOP needs an enema – soap suds enema until clear. We need to remember the values that this country was based on. Residente and Jon: Speaking of when a candidate can not answer simple questions or when their foot is inserted in said mouth – why wasn't a fuss raised when the VP elect Biden didn't know which section of the US Constitution related to the powers and duties of the Vice President of the United States??? That was a MAJOR blunder but was swept under the rug by the main stream media AND Obama supporters. And how about the time that Obama said he has campaigned in all 57 states and has 2 more to go????? One would think that he wuld have it sealed into his brain that he wants to govern 50 states. Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson were both condesending: i.e. "What do you read in Alaska?" The RNC threw Palin to the wolves with the first two interviews being the some of the most biased liberals in the country.
Anita: Too bad you didn't hold out for a candidate who knows which article in the US Constitution gives duties and powers to the VP or a candidate who knows there are 50 states in the US.
More Democrats register and vote: i.e. colleg kids who have no clue what it is like to hold a job and pay taxes for 45 years, then your 401K plans are to be taken over by the government AND my payroll taxes are going to increase by 7%. "To spread the wealth" excuse me. I have paid my dues in hard work for my entire life. It is YOUR patriotic duty to earn a paycheck instead of sitting on the porch drawing welfare or living off Mommy and Daddy while going to school. Open your eyes people!
Askmieke, if yo uhave read the Communist Manifesto, I would like to hear how Obama is a Marxist. You must be listening to those crazy Fox News propagandists. Just because a democratic-loving American beleives progressive policies are better for our country (which about half of us agree with), doesn't make him a Marxist. Your type of "us" against "them" thinking is what most of us are sick of. Maybe it's time to read/view a broader variety of sources.
So, the demostrably corrupted Republican party should not be criticised for wrongdoing – you call it besmirched – because God is watching and he doesn't like criticism? Is he's thinking those guys did great and those who criticise are bad so we're going to hell? I'm sure there are a few things in the Bible about knowing them from their fruit (what have the Republicans borne in the last 8 years? poverty, greed, pollution, war, death – ANd are you claiming to speak for God? How many years has Obama (57 States) been running for President? How much money did his campaign get (or take) from foreigners? Where are his academic records? – Sarah represents honesty… yes I know ALL Politicians are supposed to be liars… but the rare exception can exists. – I am an Independent very frustrated with the current republican party and its inability to provide differentiation with the democrats – I voted for Sarah… John was also on the ticket. I suggest that Sarah continue her involvement – she has my support.
