Cordova High Teacher Nominated for Prestigious Award

One of our very own, Ms. Erva Watts of Cordova High School has been nominated. The nominees will be honored at the Croatian American Cultural Center during a special dinner on Thursday, November 20. Region 3 includes Alpine, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties.
The finalists were nominated by the California League of High Schools for their educational excellence, are Chris Angi, Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills; Kim Baioni, McClellan Continuation High School in Antelope; Mike Gimenez, Whitney High School in Rocklin; Heidi Painter, Folsom High School; Robert Rogers, Pioneer High School in Woodland; Matt Tofft, 49er ROP at Lincoln High School; Debbie Twilla, New San Juan High School in Citrus Heights; Craig Waechtler, Rocklin High School; David Wallace, Oakmont High School in Roseville; Michael Wright, Center High School in Antelope; and Erva Watts, Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova.
