Horses Running Free Near White Rock Road Coralled

On Friday morning, fifteen horses were seen running free near White Rock Road. They have now been safely corralled, the California Highway Patrol reports.These horses had been running in the roadway on the south side of White Rock Road near Latrobe Road at about 7:45 a.m., according to the CHP, prompting a call to Sacramento County Animal Control.

The animals were all corralled by 8:28 a.m. and the road is open again. There is no report at this time if the owner has been located.
