Supporting the local food locker is a fantastic and selfless way to suppor those in need. The Cordova Community Food Locker is located at 10497 Coloma Rd, and is on the grounds of St. John Vianney Church. THe locker is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 1:30. On Friday morning, fifteen horses were seen running free near White Rock Road. They have now been safely corralled, the California Highway Patrol reports.These horses had been running in the roadway on the south side of White Rock Road near Latrobe Road at about 7:45 a.m., according to the CHP, prompting a call to Sacramento County Animal Control.
