The city of Rancho Cordova  is now accepting nominations for the December Best in Business Awards.  These awards recognize local businesses that make a difference in our community. Two different companies will be selected for nomination: one small business, the Neighborhood Pioneer and one larger business, the Exceptional Enterprise. The businesses will be honored at the December 15th, 2008 City Council meeting.

Some criteria that will help to distinguish businesses include; workforce development, green technology, expansion, longevity in Rancho, or a new business. Anyone in Rancho Cordova who is familiar with the business community is able to nominate for either category.
