Pet of the Week- Chilli
Chili is a princess from snout to tail. She even carries herself like a princess and walks in such a dainty manner that she has become famous for it. She’s a favorite of the volunteers at the shelter because she’s the dog who will get passed by and be left behind while a more gorgeous dog is adopted, but Chili has a heart of gold. She has a constant tail wag and she sees the good in each day. Chili likes to go for walks and does well on a leash. She has a silly spunky side and acts like a puppy sometimes. She’s happy to explore and stay by your side when you take her outdoors, or lie next to you while you watch a movie on a rainy day. She seems to like other dogs, and though she’s showing signs of wanting to chase cats, she may be ok after a slow supervised introduction. Chili is confident in her ways and needs a human with prior dog experience so she can’t be too spoiled and get her way all the time. Chili is around 7-8 years old and weighs an estimated 60-70 pounds. Chili’s ID# is A476998.
