Around 7 p.m. Tuesday night, Rancho Cordova Police received a phone call from an apartment complex  near Mills Park Drive and Folsom Blvd in Rancho Cordova saying a man had been shot. Before the police could arrive, the family of the man drove him  about two miles to the police state on Rockingham Drive. The 19 year old man was conscious and talking when the police found him, and he was then taken to the UC Davis Medical Center where he is currently in stable condition.

The RCPD only has a vague description of the shooter. Anyone with any information is asked to call the police department at 362-5115.
