The candidates running for Rancho Cordova City Council and the Cordova Recreation and Park District Board of Directors will be meeting for a candidate forum on Tuesday, October 21 at Sunrise Elementary School in Anatolia from 6:30 to 8:30. The school is located at 11821 Cobble Brook Drive. The event is free for all and refreshments will be served. Community members are invited to ask their own questions of the candidates.

First up will be the Rancho Cordova City Council members at 6:30. The candidates running for the positions are Ken Cooley, Robert McGarvey, and David Sander. Following the City Council member forum will be the CRPD candidates forum at 7:30. The candidates running for CRPD positions are; Mark Baxter, Kathryn Gerwig, David Ivazian, David LaPierre, Perry Metzger, Rick Sloan, and Kendall Tough.
