When a Rancho Cordova man heard someone trying to kick down his door, he grabbed a gun and shot the suspect. The shooting occurred just after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. The 26 year old man then held the suspect at gun point until authorities arrived.
The candidates running for Rancho Cordova City Council and the Cordova Recreation and Park District Board of Directors will be meeting for a candidate forum on Tuesday, October 21 at Sunrise Elementary School in Anatolia from 6:30 to 8:30.
