Our SMUD Director, Susan Patterson announced she is retiring and has endorsed me to replace her on the Sacramento Municipal Utility Board of Directors. Rancho Cordova residents have an opportunity to elect a SMUD Director who shares our Rancho Cordova values. As the only candidate from Rancho Cordova, I know what the needs of our community are and the importance of keeping our SMUD rates low. In 2003, I worked tirelessly to help Rancho Cordova become a city. As business owner in Rancho Cordova, I know the importance of building relationships with companies to maintain and develop the health of our local economy. By expanding SMUD’s partnerships and incentive programs, I will strive to retain companies and attract new businesses to Rancho Cordova and the Sacramento region.

Nancy lives in Rancho Cordova.  She has also served on the Board of Directors for Sacramento Advocates for Girls Empowerment, and represented Rancho Cordova on the Sacramento Transportation and Air Quality collaborative.  Nancy spends time volunteering for various organizations including the Red Cross and Junior Achievement Worldwide. She is also the founder of Bear HUGS (Hope You Give Someone).
