Stand Alone Walgreens Approved

With building coming to a halt, many in Rancho Cordova are wondering where all the promised businesses are. A little light has been shed on the situation as a stand alone Walgreens has been approved for the South West corner of Sunrise Blvd and Herodian Way.

The projected building will be approximately 14,000 square feet on 2.4 acres and will have a convenient drive thru service.  The Walgreens will offer pharmacy, photo, and nutritional services as well as beauty supplies and seasonal gifts. This will be the first Walgreens to come to the Rancho Cordova area, and will join the other 24 stores in the greater Sacramento area.

Finally. I will be sure to buy everything I can from this store to show support for more buisnesses to setup shop on the Sunrise / Douglas intesection.

  2. Yes, some residents have suggested an organized buy-out-the-store event to clear the shelves on the day they open. We’ll be sure to let you know when the opening day will be.

Yes, I agree with you folks. Us Anatolia residents need to make an effort to purchase merchandise from this Walgreens on a regular basis even if it is for small things. Hopefully this revenue stream that the store will see will help make the case for other businesses to open shop in our area.

    FO SHO!

I will support and support with my hard earned money. Now can we get a nice little Sushi or Wine and Cheese establishment to follow? Ala Folsom-Roseville???

So excited. I have lived in Mather since they built my home 6 years ago. I have been waiting for this way too long. I will be shopping there on a weekly basis.

  6. Now all they need is a decent comic shop and it will be complete!
