The Sacramento Region Water Forum, the Sacramento County Regional Parks and the California Resources Agency will be working with other partners to begin work next week on a project that will enhance the steelhead spawning habitat in the Lower American River. The project will help minimize steelhead egg nest standing by deepening a side channel that is about 1/2 a mile down from the Sunrise Avenue Bridge.

It’s nearly time for Rosemont High School’s third annual Harvest Festival and Craft Fair. Crafters, entrepreneurs and community leaders are needed to make the November 8th event a success. Rosemont PTSA partners with student clubs and boosters on campus as well as with the community to provide a day full of crafts, food and fun.

GenCorp Inc. replaced its chief financial officer and controller on Monday, September 29th. The Rancho Cordova aerospace and real estate company underwent a big management change in March of this year and both executives were from previous management at Aerojet’s parent company, GenCorp.
