Best of Rancho- Places for Date Night

Is there a little known restaurant that has become the perfect background for every first date you go on? Perhaps there’s a special ice cream shop that completes the evening out with your spouse. How about a park with the most picnic-conducive atmosphere? Where do you go in Rancho when you go out on a date? Experts are always saying that one (of the many) keys to a happy relationship is to continue dating, even if you’ve been married for 50 years.

So, are the date locations different between the generations? Is the standard dinner and a movie still the standard? If so, where do you go for dinner? Is it the atmosphere of your favorite date location that keeps you coming back or the customer service?  Fellow readers of the Post, let’s take a moment this week and appreciate that special someone and celebrate with a good, old fashioned date.

“Scooter Bandit” Robbing Area Banks

Two area banks have been robbed recently by a man wearing a helmet. The nick-named “Scooter Bandit” is accused of robbing a Washington Mutual Bank in Rancho Cordova on April 23 and of a second robbery at Wachovia Bank in Gold River on August 22.
