The Rancho Cordova Library is helping students make their high school experience a little easier. Instead of frantically trying to pull your grade point average up and worrying that you are one lab science class from being accepted into your first choice university, you could have everything planned out and know exactly what steps need to be taken to get into the college of your choice.

The College Planning Course is offered for eighth, ninth, and tenth graders who are planning on or thinking about going to college. The intimidating process of choosing the correct high school courses and taking the most beneficial college entrance exams will seem less frightening after a little coaching from the professionals. College Admissions Advisor, Joan Adams will be presenting the course and answering any questions students and parents might have about the college planning process.

Students and family members are welcome to attend the free event. The workshop will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rancho Cordova Library on September 15th. All attendees must be between the ages of 12 and 21 years old. The library is asking that students register by September 13th at 6 p.m. Registration can be completed at the library’s website, or by calling 264-2920.
