Vroom, Vroom! Electric Car Dealership Calls Rancho Home

A dealership carrying a line of electric cars, trucks and scooters is preparing to open in Rancho Cordova. The Cost Less Auto Inc. dealership will have the electric vehicles for sale beginning August 23rd.  All of the electric vehicles are manufactured by a company called Zap, out of Santa Rosa.

Included in the list of vehicles being sold is the the Zap Xebra a three wheeled vehicle that is completely gasoline free. This is a great car for getting around your immediate area as the speedometer tops out at 40 mph.

Zap offers vehicles that are completely electric and other models that are solar-electric hybrids.  To date, Zap has sold more than 100,000 vehicles in over 75 countries.

If environmental friendliness and independence from the gas station on the corner is what you’re looking for then you could be the next proud owner for around $12,000.
