RC Post Welcomes New Editor

I’d like to take a moment to welcome our new Editor for the RC Post, Michelle Ventress. As she takes the reigns of the daily news editing and managing volunteer writers I’ll be able to focus on building the up the newspaper as a business operation.

Michelle is recently married and lives in Rosemont with her husband and their dog. She grew up in Calaveras county and went to college in Abilene, Texas where she developed a love for Texas BBQ and learned to truly appreciate proper grammar.

Before she began writing for The Post, she worked in the social services field, serving young children and their families. Since moving to the area, Michelle has dabbled in gardening and spends time taking advantage of all the activities Rancho Cordova has to offer. She enjoys shopping, reading and meeting new people.

So if you hear a young lady with a southern accent you’ll know why she’s callin ya’ll.
