August 7, 2008On July 30th, a Sacramento County deputy came out of a training to find his car broken into, and his gun, his laptop, and his GPS system gone. While this is not unusual, Tim Curran, the Sheriffs spokesperson says police firearm theft occurs about once a year, many area residents may find this more than a little disturbing.

Michael Devale Thomas, 22, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. July 25 on suspicion of obstructing/ interfering with lawful business operations.
