Aerojet to Cut Jobs

About 100 Aerojet workers will receive layoff notices before the summer is over. The rocket and missile propulsion manufacturer based in Rancho Cordova hopes to cut only 100 of its 1600 employees. Library named in Memory of Local Humanitarian

Folsom’s newest library addition will open Wednesday, August 6th on the campus of Vista del Lago High School. The library is co-funded and operated by the City of Folsom, and Folsom Cordova United School District (FCUSD). The new library will serve both students and local residents.

Missing At-Risk Rancho Cordova Woman

Police have issued a plea for information about the location of missing, at-risk woman, Dawn Sardeson.  Sardeson, 38, was last seen leaving her Rancho Cordova home around 7:30 Monday morning wearing blue jeans and a green shirt. She is 5’5, and weighs 200 pounds.
