Navy Blue Angels blow away Rancho Cordova

The California Capital Airshow once again highlighted the finest in military aviation. The Navy’s Blue Angels put on a show to packed crowds Saturday and Sunday.

This years crowd appeared large, but not overwhelming. The traffic situation this year was much better organized. In prior year’s parking was a problem, but this year the situation seemed calm and orderly. There are reports of many hundreds of airshow visitors parking at the light rail stations and riding the shuttle. The weather cooperated with the pilots and visitors this year as there was a cool breeze and only a smattering of clouds. The show was great and seemed to be enjoyed by all who attended. The final numbers have yet to be tabulated but this appears to be another successful airshow.
