City to present options for residents to avoid foreclosure on their homes

In response to record high numbers of home foreclosures on residents in the City of Rancho Cordova, the city council is providing a homeowner mortgage clinic called “Avoiding Home Foreclosure”. The clinic is aimed at homeowners facing foreclosure or citizens concerned that they soon may face this issue.

The multi-purpose room at Sunrise elementary was brimming with energy as more than 100 residents showed up to participate in the Anatolia town hall meeting. The town hall was held at Sunrise elementary school on Cobblebrook drive.

New Memorial Dedicated to California’s Fallen Soldiers

The California National Guard dedicated a new memorial Tuesday to the 32 California National Guard soldiers who’ve lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. Called “The Wall of Heroes,” memorial will be housed at the California National Guard Joint Force Headquarters in Rancho Cordova.
