The local committee of Weed and Seed is looking for some worthy programs to fund to help reduce violent crime and drug abuse while encouraging prevention, intervention, treatment, and neighborhood restoration programs with the help of human services and law enforcement programs. The local program, based in Rancho Cordova, working in conjunction with the community oriented policing function of the Rancho Cordova Police Department is looking for volunteers.
