Sacramento County officials plan to ask nearby residents of the American River Parkway if they would be willing to pay up to $48 per year to preserve and improve the parkway. Residents living withing 3 miles will be receiving surveys and brochures in the mail describing the new tax and how your tax dollars might be spent if this tax makes it’s way onto the ballot.
